He is Assistant Professor at the Engineering Department of the University of Ferrara, lecturer of Rotating machinery diagnostics. His research activity is mainly in the field of signal processing for the diagnostics of rotating machines and experimental vibration measurements. In particular, his attention is focused on time-frequency analysis and Cyclostationary analysis. Supervisor of several theses of students belonging to the Mechanical Engineering Degree. He got the PhD in Mechanics of Machines from the Department of Mechanical, Nuclear, Aviation and Metallurgical Engineering at the University of Bologna. He was guest at the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research – University of Southampton – with a Marie Curie Hosing Fellowships, and assistant research engineer at the Universitè de Technologie de Compiègne. Author and co-author of more than 40 papers published in International Conference Proceedings, National and International Journals.
